Top knot or ‘Brave the Shave’! (Gulp😳)
YOU DECIDE: This week our LOCAL Charity appeal for @YorkshireBrainTumourCharity (YBTC) has now gone LIVE but closes on Friday 22 May 3pm.
Help us raise £1500 for YBTC and I do a selfie quarantine head shave LIVE and ONLINE in ASSEMBLY on FRIDAY 22 MAY at 2pm. 😳 Please remember I don’t really want to do a head shave hence the challenging target. However this is a great Yorkshire based cause so part of me hopes that we can actually raise that money this week!
You can copy and paste the link below into Google to give to YBTC via Justgiving or you can give online or text to donate as shown in the bucket image below. Both Justgiving links work and the Charity will update us on the grand total during the week. Over £200 has already been raised! 😳 Thanks so much to those of you have donated. 👏
Please can you help to get us to that total by sharing this post?
Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity are the leading brain tumour charity in our region, dedicated to raising funds for life changing research and patient support.
YBTC support anyone diagnosed with, or affected by, a primary brain tumour in Yorkshire. Their support is for adult and child patients, as well as their family and carers.
They provide a range of financial, practical and emotional support, which is available for as long as it is needed. You can read more about what they do online at www.yorksbtc.org.uk. Paul Chumas, the surgeon who operated on my own son, was operating on Thursday and Friday. Their life saving work continues despite Covid 19.
