£636 raised as Kevin tackles the Manchester Marathon

On Sunday 19th April Kevin, who is the son-in-law of our chair of governor's Dave Peck ran the Manchester Marathon on our behalf. He came into our Record of Achievement assembly on Friday 5th June to tell us all about it.

According to Kevin, the race was hard going but the crowd were fantastic and really supported all the runners as they made their way around the course. For Kevin, the marathon was his first of many and a fantastic personal achievement. More than that, he raised £636 in sponsorship towards the Spring Hall Project!
