At Ravenscliffe, we look to actively engage and involve our Parents and Carers in the running and development of the school. A part of this is our Parent Support Group, which meets each half term. It gives us the opportunity to ask your opinion about important changes and developments in school. At the same time, it allows us to support you, and allows you to support each other. We see it as a great way of getting people together, having a cuppa, and sharing our collective wealth of experiences and knowledge.
Last academic year, we covered topics including:
- Nurturing Touch
- Ideas for the new 6th Form
- Changes to Benefits
- Internet and Online Safety
- iPads and Assistive Technology
- Parents Choir
Support Groups are usually scheduled for Friday afternoons, preceding school assemblies which all Parents and Carers are welcome to attend. For more information about the Parent Support Group, please contact Jo Hague in school.
