At Ravenscliffe we encourage all students to take care with their personal presentation. School uniform is compulsory for students in Y7 to Y11 because we believe it helps pupils feel proud of their school, contributes to increased safety and security, and reduces pressure on parents to buy the latest fashion items. In Y7 to Y11, students are expected to wear navy blue school sweatshirts and/or sky blue polo shirts and black or dark grey skirt or trousers.

In the Sixth Form, students may choose to wear smart casual clothing. We advise against wearing jewellery of any sort as this may cause a health and safety risk to the individual or other students.

All students are expected to bring their own swimming and school PE kit, as well as a towel as showers are an integral part of PE activities.

They will now be selling all items of school uniform and will embroider your son/daughter’s initials on the PE shorts and PE top as part of the price. Please make sure that you request initials when buying these items.

Please make sure you initial all items of School uniform and PE kit; it really helps to re-unite them with the owner when they get left around the building!
