Reception/Administration Assistant

This is a temporary contract to cover Maternity leave until 31 August 2022

35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 days

Scale 2 point 4 £18,933 pro-rata (actual £15,900) inc Special School Allowance

The hours are 8.15 am - 3.45 pm

We are looking for an enthusiastic School Receptionist/Administration Assistant to join our School Office Team. The successful candidate will have a calm, pleasant, professional and positive manner and be able to demonstrate empathy in relation to the special needs of the school community.

You will contribute to a hardworking and committed administration team, be efficient and organised, and have a friendly and welcoming manner, as you will be the first point of contact for parents and visitors to the school and the main contact for staff and students during school hours. The post will involve dealing with reception work, including answering the telephone, typing, photocopying and a variety of administration tasks, and supporting the staff team at school. A prior knowledge of SIMS and FMS6 would be useful, although support and training will be made available to the successful candidate.  Essential qualifications required are GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or equivalent and candidates should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
